{Photo-a-Day Project: A personal project that I undertake every January for an entire month taking one photo a day of my children. This is the 12th year of this project.}

      Over the last 24 hours, a shopping centre has opened in this house. Each of the two shop keepers has a variety of items to peruse, but both drive a hard bargain. Note: this is strictly a cash only operation – items have been labelled for sale or rent, with the option of giving a tip for good customer service. Items for sale include books, toys and even personal diaries (diaries are only available for rent though which, on a personal note, is genius). Each item is explained in great detail on why it’s so amazing, and then should a successful transaction take place, cold hard cash needs to be handed over.

      The strategies employed by each of you vary. Mia has opted to purchase all of Charlie’s items she thinks he really loves in order to sell it back to him at a later date at an inflated cost when he misses them and wants them back. Charlie however is buying up all of the bargains that Mia has underpriced because she doesn’t want them anymore.

      Raffle tickets are also on sale allowing you to get a discount on an item, days of service, or a free item (“for selected items only”).

      I give it another hour before it ends in tears.
