{Photo-a-Day Project: A personal project that I undertake every January for an entire month taking one photo a day of my children.}

Four photos I have taken of her hair.
Four years in succession I have watched  it grow.
      I have never cut it.
      I don’t know when I will.
Maybe it is the part I hold on to.
The part that still is my baby.
      Maybe I can’t let go.
      For now, I sit.
      I appreciate.
      I smile.
There is so much beauty in simplicity.

This is so beautiful, Kristen. My 9-months-old baby girl has short hair yet and I can’t wait to brush curls like these…

love this. i’ve yet to cut my little lady’s hair either. i’m sure i’ll cry the day those wispy ends are snipped off.

Oh how I adore this. So very much. xo

My nine year old just chopped her long hair off. It was more of a “letting go” for this mama than it was for her. And now? She is the cutest thing ever!!!! LOVE her short hair!
      Feeling your mama heart. :)

I don’t have a daughter. Must be an incredible feeling. Beautiful photograph.

And I remember every one of those 4 images. I can’t believe how long her hair has grown and how perfectly perfect her little ringlets are. Such a touching photo.

My little girl is two and a half and I can’t bring myself to cut her hair either! I don’t want to cut away the gorgeousness :)

      Perfectly captured… <3
